This firmware and protocol offer an alternative for ZBS243-based Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL) or price tags from Solum/Samsung. They facilitate setting up E-Paper tags and content delivery. The software includes Accesspoint and Tag firmware, along with various hardware designs for access points and flasher interfaces used for tag programming, ideally with programming jigs. Additionally, while the adapter isn't mandatory, it streamlines communication between iobroker and the OEPL Gateway.

This project specifically focuses on the adapter for iobroker and doesn't intend to replace the wiki available at https://github.com/jjwbruijn/OpenEPaperLink. In case of issues with the displays or the OEPL Access Point, please refer to the aforementioned link and open a bug report there. The adapter aims to enhance iobroker's compatibility and communication with the OEPL system, serving as an additional feature without replacing the comprehensive documentation and support available on the provided link.

The adapter functions as a combination of WebSocket and HTTP POST requests, facilitating communication with the OEPL Gateway. This integration allows for seamless interaction and data exchange between the iobroker system and the OEPL Gateway through these combined protocols.
