Telco Customer Churn Analysis

This project analyzes customer churn in a telecommunications company using machine learning and data visualization techniques. The analysis is based on the IBM Telco Customer Churn Dataset from Kaggle. Demographics

  • PRO_1.py: Initial exploratory data analysis and basic statistics
  • PRO_2.py: Advanced analysis with visualizations and machine learning model

Key Findings

  • Overall churn rate: 26.54%
  • Fiber Optic service has highest churn rate (40.72%)
  • Top churn reasons are competitor-related (better devices, better offers)
  • Model achieves 92% accuracy in predicting churn

Random Forest Classifier Results:

Usage

  1. Clone the repository
  2. Ensure all required packages are installed
  3. Run the scripts in order:
    python3 PRO_1.py
