Summary

Migrate eRA Commons authentication to use ECM instead of Shibboleth

Supporting work:

• ECM Design Work: CORE-23
• DUOS Domains: CORE-108 (completed)
• Redirect Parameter: CORE-110

There are a number of missing pieces yet to be fleshed out.

• We need to pass an additional redirectTo parameter to ECM for the auth url
  • See https://broadworkbench.atlassian.net/browse/CORE-23 for more details on this piece. This might be a different kind of state parameter that DUOS would construct as part of the ECM request.
• There are no test accounts in the non-prod NIH system which means we can't test this outside of production
