Welcome to the KingdomsX wiki! All the features and explanation here only apply to the latest version of the plugin on SpigotMC. Some of the explanations here are not meant to be understood by the players, you might want to change them a little if you're making a server tutorial.
Note that all the mechanics explained here are the default behavior and can be changed.
There's currently no comprehensive video tutorial available for Kingdoms.

Please read the wiki before asking questions. If you think something is still unclear, you can always join the Discord server. The wiki is simplified with common English words when possible to make it easier to understand for users from other countries.

You can report bugs both here and on the discord server. It's the same for feature requests.

If you're completely new to the plugin, you can start with introductions section.


Premium

Kingdoms plugin is technically free. You can get a free copy from the Discord server like mentioned in the Spigot page.
The discord versions and the spigot versions have no difference whatsoever.
The only reason it's not free on Spigot is to avoid people who do not read descriptions/wikis and those who leave misleading reviews blindly without asking for support or asking for unreasonable features. No, this isn't considered buying good reviews, it's a way to prevent people who leave a review based on an issue they encountered and they didn't ask for support, or asked for support, but didn't cooperate and allow people to leave reviews based on features and efficiency of a working software. Yes, I know this doesn't solve the issue for people who have the money, and I don't expect everyone to leave a 5 star review, but I expect a review to include trying to solve issues with the support team.

You can consider this as a way of donating to me.
People who did not buy the plugin will not get any sort of prioritization and there will be no discrimination in how they're treated or given support. Do not misunderstand this statement. It's not "Thank you for buying, now fuck off", it's merely saying there's no discrimination between people who bought the plugin and people who didn't. You'll be given equal support, feature acceptance and bug fix priorities.

Some people might say it deserves to be premium because of its quality, however I'm having some issues with PayPal, so even the money that comes from you buying the plugin on Spigot doesn't go to my wallet, but don't worry, the money goes to the right place.
I will not add people manually to Spigot's plugin buyer list for any reason.
Just telling me that you enjoy the plugin really motivates me even more to keep improving it with new features.


Support

Just like mentioned in the Contributors section, kingdom is only maintained by a single developer. The support team is mostly made of a few volunteers. I'll try my best to help and guide you to get what you're after, but you'll have to have a intermediate understanding of the English language and knowledge of Minecraft servers, configs and plugins in order for me to help you.

For example, I can't help you if you don't know the simple process of updating the plugin or if you don't know how your server's file management system works, how to save configs correctly and etc.

There's a reason plugin has concise and helpful error messages and the wiki is written in detail. Most kingdoms errors are meant to be helpful unlike most of the other plugins. If you're unable to understand error messages or the wiki, I will try to help you. Listen carefully to what you're told, otherwise you might just get ignored. It's okay if you tried your best and didn't understand something, not everything is explained perfectly, so don't be afraid to ask for clarification if you genuinely tried.

Before asking for support, make sure to read troubleshooting section, if you were unable to resolve your issue, you can ask for help in Discord, Spigot's Discussions sections or GitHub Issues. None of them takes priority over the other, but generally, people are more willing to help in the Discord Server.

I do not provide private support. There are exceptions to this rule for friends and major/game-breaking bugs, but generally privately contacting staff about any kind of support (such as questions, suggestions or bug reports) will be either rejected or ignored. For exceptional situations tickets system are used instead.


Contributors

Kingdoms plugin is an independent plugin made by just a single developer, Crypto Morin. I code kingdoms in my spare time and fix all the bugs (that are possible to fix), but I'm not confident that'll be able to add all of your features.
Unfortunately if you're a developer and want to help, the plugin is not open source right now, but you can always contact me to discuss the features that you want added.
