Important Things

• Orchid ballroom will be used for Plenary stuff (welcome, keynote, lightning talks) and then split into 2 rooms (east/west) for talk talks.

• Welcome / Keynote / Lightning - get recorded on both system barbecue they systems are always recording. Hopefully the HDMI goes in/out the "East" Opsis as that is the room per the schedule data. It will get figured out, this is just a heads up so there is less surprise.

• bring cat5+crimps in case 100' isn't enough.

• cnt6 box is being weird. "new cpu, press f1..." do that, hit F10, Enter and it seems to be fine. It has a new battery and keeps the date, I have spent well over an hour googling and stuff. I did not reinstall Windows as many have suggested.

• the xfer disk needs a disk label of "xfer" and a "/Videos/veyepar" dir.

• do training Friday night.

• after training, assign people to rooms. 2 per room, extras get to float around. I want James and Roman floating. if we need extra people, maybe Dave can rope someone into hanging out. otherwise, meh. 1 will do.

• Roman can likely do training.

• Roman can do most things.

• If you need to image an SD card for a pi, you will need to set it's IP, ad the IP wants to find voctomix on. /etc/network/interfaces address 10.20.0.41/24 and /usr/local/bin/videoteam-ingest host=10.20.0.40

• all the cnt video mixer boxes have an Opsis pi image on their local disk. they all have micro sd card slots.

• Voctomix shows "Stream is blanked: Loop" - default for streaming (don't send camera to the internet, but yes keep saving to disk so fine for us.) F12 (stream on) makes the blinky go away, so sure, hit it.
