The following variables were added to cchsflow:
- INJ_01 - Injured in past 12 months

  • INJ_02 - Number of injuries in past 12 months
  • INJ_05 - What type of injury did you have?
  • INJ_05_A - What type of injury did you have? (2007-2008 and share files)
  • INJ_06 - What part of the body was injured?
  • INJ_08 - Where did the injury happen?
  • REP_1A - Repetitive strain injury in past 12 months
  • REP_2 - Repetitive strain injury - limiting normal activities
  • REP_3A - Repetitive strain injury - activity causing injury
  • REPG3 - Repetitive strain injury - most serious affected body part
  • REP_4A - Repetitive strain injury - working at a job or business (excluding travel to or from work)
  • REP_5A - Repetitive strain injury - working at a job or business (including travel to or from work)
  • REP_5B - Repetitive strain injury - travel to or from work
  • REP_5C - Repetitive strain injury - activity - sports or physical exercise
  • REP_5D - Repetitive strain injury - activity - household chores
  • REP_5E - Repetitive strain injury - activity - sleeping, eating, personal care
  • REP_5F - Repetitive strain injury - activity - computer use
  • REP_5G - Repetitive strain injury - activity - driving a motor vehicle
  • REP_5H - Repetitive strain injury - activity - lifting or carrying
  • REP_5I - Repetitive strain injury - activity - other

Injury was divided into most serious, repetitive strain injury and other. Most serious injury is available for CCHS 2001-2014 Repetitive strain injury is available for CCHS 2001-2018. The other injury variables for 2001-2014 look at other injuries that were treated by a health professional but not limit your normal activity, whereas the other injury variables for 2015-2018 look only at injuries that did not limit your normal activity.
