cutouts plots postage stamps or cutouts centered along the trajectory of moving objects such as asteroids and comets. The user provides observations, predicted ephemerides, and the catalog in which the observations appear. cutouts will query for the images at the predicted location of the moving object using Simple Image Access (SIA). Downloaded cutouts are automatically centered so that the predicted position is as near to the center of the image as possible. Images are also trimmed and/or padded to the desired size. Each cutout is plotted in a grid with the option to add a crosshair and velocity vector representing the predicted motion of the object.
