Store resource slice references instead of count (#19)

There is a foundational problem with the current approach to associating resource slices with compositions - we don't know how to handle orphaned resource slices. This change ResourceSlice writes references to the status instead of only the slice count. --------- Co-authored-by: Jordan Olshevski <[email protected]>
