In practice, the circular buffers at 1000 and 10000 objects will be enabled to store data only after the previous buffer is full. This serves to store data that had at least some corrections (at least 2 in the case of the 1000 buffer, 429s overflow). So making the new data have a better deviation from the basic frequency (10MHz) and therefore during the average they will give a more precise result. This should help you arrive first at the frequency lock.
