Booth Layout

There will literally be 7 projectors in the roof of the Olli bus. Each thing called a monitor, below, is actually a projected image. Each is from a separate HDMI feed to an individual projector. Monitors 4, 5a, 5b, 5c, 6 will all be showing parts of the video. The "trick" will be to coordinate them so it looks to the person inside the bus, like it is moving down the street.

Because we won't be able to install anything on the real projectors on the real bus until the final stages of build, we need to have the ability to fine tune the actual view in a given projection... to make sure they all line up. We need to be able to take a subset of the 360 view, and map it to an individual projection, which would be a corresponding part of the real life view. This will all have to align to the sides of the window and such, and so you could imagine, will take a lot of fine tuning.

(Note, these "Projections" will get english names to be clearer in the JSON)

So ultimately, we need 5 separate Mp4 videos that represent the Views on the left, and projectible into the 5 windows on the right. Realistically, we will not have the precise dimensions and angles in the digagram on the right, until it is done being built, very near the end... so we need to plan on being about to adust the views as necessary untill we get them all lined up. We will programatically slow/ start/ stop the video to simulate when the bus is coming to a bus stop.

In the displays, we'll add informational pop-ups (factoids) that will be separate react components that appear to float along with the things that are being described. These are separate from the videos, but will have to track along with them.
