Connection Issues

Make sure you have sys-botbase installed.

Make sure you have the file in your SD card: atmosphere/contents/430000000000000B.

Make sure your Switch IP is correct.

  1. Right click the start menu to open a Command Prompt.
  2. Type “ping” in the black box and hit the space bar.
  3. Type the IP address you'd like to ping (e.g., 10.0.0.160).
  4. Review the ping results displayed. a. If your computer shows pings results then make sure you have the exact same IP in your configuration file. b. If the ping responds with Destination host unreachable means: i. You are not connected to the same network as your Switch. ii. Your router is dual-banded and your Switch and computer are not on the same band. iii. You do not have the correct Switch IP.

Make sure your port is correct.

sys-botbase usually has the port built as 6000 unless you specified something else. Your config.yaml file should also say 6000 in the port section.
