This is a known issue, because google maps api doesn't provide a getter for the mapOptions. A previous issue address this problem as well: #13. I will think about how to overcome this case.

is there some workaround possible for this issue? im facing this issue as well.

Same issue here. Maybe can we provide manually our map options to the MeasureTool somehow?
