I only now noticed that the recordsize is on the Ubuntu 18.04 wiki/script 1MB, months after install, but this doesn't seem to be recommended anywhere else, and can cause write amplification.
Is this harmless due to the design of ZFS, a mistake, or what? Will it be causing meaningful write amplification problems over RAID-1 or RAID-10 for a root filesystem?
