Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Current Behavior

When playing a local file from my library if I skip to another song the timestamp will change to 0:00, This also happens when it automatically plays the next track.

Expected Behavior

Timestamp should update and not be stuck at 0:00

Workaround:

Pause and unpause annoying but works.

Steps To Reproduce

My settings:

image

  1. Add a folder or files to library
  2. Play a track then skip to the next track
  3. Timestamp will be 0:00

Environment

- OS: Windows 11
- Version: 22H2 (22621.4037)

Anything else?

After restarting the Apple Music app the timestamp bug seems to be gone, Maybe it was a one time issue?
