Sidebar shouldn't appear when switching tabs or workspaces with hotkeys

This is very annoying when trying to go through tabs fast, and there's something I want to click on the left side of the website but I can't because I have to wait for the sidebar to go away. Even if it goes away fast, it is still visually annoying.

Would be very cool if it just didn't appear or if there was a setting to make it not appear.
