Microsoft JScript compilation error

idk why I'm getting this error whenever i try to open the scripts that you provided. I just unzipped the repo after downloading and tried to open the script as you described in "How to use" methods. Both "Method_1_Script.js" and "Method_2_Script.js" get the same error.
I tried posting and searching on other platforms couldn't get the solution. I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks
