Follow symlinks automatically to source

Hi, do you think there is a way to add an option to your extension to follow automatically to the source of a symlink when opening a file, rather than having to run a manual command? I never want to edit the file in the context of the symlink location, but always want to go to the source. Thanks

Also, would it be possible when opening the remote file to place the cursor at the same position as the current file?

It's possible I guess, unfortunately I'm too busy to dig deeper into vscode. Feel free to send a PR or fork and publish your own plugin~
