Not sure how big the rewrite will be but I need to swap to asynchronous - probably after #9 and #10.

Hey @zacharyrs, could you elaborate a bit - are those changes to HA something that could prevent the integration from functioning and/or cause some issues?
I'm choosing an A/C and would like to make sure that I'll be able to control it from HA.
Your effort is much appreciated!

The code does work as-is, these are just nice things I wanted to implement at some point.

It appears that there's a fork with everything done already though - https://github.com/haggis663/ha-melview.
