Update Hblauncher Loader to v1.3 |
something failed Thats after updating |
I don't know, but my HBL works, you must to hold the X button when starting the software |
Rebooted now it works xD |
Nice :) |
Thanks clement95 |
Now it doesn't work for me XDD |
Same for me except mine gives me the error: something failed :( Any help? |
I think we must just wait, it's just an alpha release |
But my HBL does'nt work and I don't have this error code, it just crashes and returns to Home Menu |
Oh mine stays on the page. |
Try this : |
If you have a New 3DS, disable the New 3DS Clock Speed option in Luma. Hold SELECT while turning on to get to the config screen |
http://orig01.deviantart.net/08e8/f/2017/042/f/e/crash_dump_00000001_by_niles_prower-dayntc8.zip - I have tried to attach a file to this post, but for some reason it didn't worked out. In this ZIP sits the crash dump created by Luma after my attempt to run HBL Loader after update. |
You have a New 3DS or Old 3DS ? |
How do I install the last starter kit and the HBlauncher loader v1.3 please? |
Get the starter kit from http://smealum.github.io/3ds/ and use a CIA installer (like FBI) to install the latest CIA. |
Do not use any "CFW" force-L2-cache option. |
I am using 2DS, so it's Old 3DS, basically. This crash dump was created on very first boot, second time it was successful, and on 3rd attemp the *hax failed to apply without actual error to be shown nor crash. Right now I tried to load again, and it worked, but I don't know exactly what happened the first time, so I though that crash dump from there would be useful. I guess it's *hax payload that is somewhat unstable as of now. |
@TLNiles force-L2-cache is for N3DS only, so your issue wouldn't be caused by that. |
Thanks @yellows8, disabling L2 cache has solved this problem for me. Is this a temporary fix, or a permanent obstacle we'll have to deal with if we want to use HBLL on 11.3? |
latter |
Disabling N3DS Clock and L2 Cache in Luma settings fixed the issue for me. Would also recommend installing hblauncher_loader v1.3 and the latest homebrew starter kit as mentioned above. |
@yellows8 |
Delete the folder "hblauncherloader" in the root of your SD Card and try again |
Hello, I'm experiencing the exact same issue: Config: Important: the homebrew launcher CIA does work with wifi ON, however it displays the error message when it's offline. |
Oh and I did start the hb channel with X pressed. |
Hi Guys, 0052e000 Something failed :( Fresh downloads of starter, soundhax m4a and otherapp, |
Resolved the issue, |
Hello, I am getting the error code How do I fix it? |
Getting the same error as Kpolupo when I try to launch homebrew. And since the guide said we could update the system, and 11.4 apparently fixes soundhax, I'm not being able to launch it through sounds either =/ |
See #66 for o3ds |
for all of you with problems on 11.4 with the hbl cia, you can download the 11.2.0-35U payload. and put it in your hblauncherloader folder, and rename it to OLD-11-4-0-37-USA.bin. it should work. |
Oo thankies 👍 |
I keep getting error code |
btw My 3ds is an old one... I tried to run doodlebomb from my old 3ds and keep getting the errors above.. |
our O3DS is on 11.4 ? Go to https://smealum.github.io/3ds/ and download the 11.2 otherapp payloads, add a new folder to the root of your SD card named "hblauncherloader" and put the payload in, rename the payload to "OLD-11-2-0-EUR.bin" if your 3DS is EUR, for JPN and USA "OLD-11-2-0-JPN.bin" "OLD-11-2-0-USA.bin" |
Sorry "OLD-11-2-0-34-EUR.bin" "OLD-11-2-0-34-JPN.bin" "OLD-11-2-0-34-USA.bin"* |
Thank you for responding me! My old Japanese version 3ds is currently on 11.4 system and I've tried the method provided by @TheKing0fArkham: |
Do u have boot.3dsx on the root of ur sdcard? |
And i has to be renamed using your 3ds version, so rename it to "OLD-11-4-0-37-USA" where USA is your 3ds region. |
It* |
I had the some problem. Downloading the 11.2 otherapp-payload and renaming it to my current system version as described above plus putting the boot.3dsx in the root of the sd card fixed it. |
Qmiaowww I think you must to select OLD 11.2.0-34J, download otherapp, and save it to sd_card/hblauncherloader/OLD-11-4-0-37-JPN.bin. |
@Clement95 @H4ndl3 @Z4CH4R13 Thanks a lot guys!!! Finally helped me out!~! I'm so happy with it!!! OMG! |
You're welcome ;) |
@Qmiaowww no probs m8! |
Everytime i try to use doodlebomb and load homebrew it says failed to locate takover object any ideas on how to fix it? |
Just adding my experience. Hacked my 2DS following the guide, updated to 11.4 EUR and HBL didn't work. Downloaded the 11.2 payload and now HBL works. |
What @Z4CH4R13 said worked on my 2ds. Thank you so much. I've been having problems about my Homebrew since I used CFW 'coz Homebrew's not working. :D Job well done. |
00000000 something failed :( #FIXED IT# downloaded the 11.2.0-35U via other appdata and renamed it OLD-11-4-0-37-USA and reloaded my 3ds and just simply launched hbl and it loaded right up. so there is a nice bonus. |
You are on O3DS ?
You must delete the contents in "hblauncherloader" folder in the root
of your SD Card, download the OLD 11.2.0-35 for your region and put it
in "hblauncherloader" and rename it to "OLD-11-4-0-37-XXX.bin" (XXX is
your region). If you are on Luma 6.6, update it.
|
i deleted everything in the folder and replaced it with the stuff i needed but when i loaded it up it said the homebrew was ready but then crashed to the home screen |
Do NOT ask about {supported system-versions} here for *hax payload, completely wrong place for that.
I am getting an error code
00001000
01fcf000
d8e17406
I have the latest boot.3dsx from smealum.github.io
Old 3ds al9h+luma3ds
