"No KiKit backend found" error using MacOS 14.5 despite running the kikit installMacOS.bash script

I already found the solution and wanted to share it, if someone else has the same problem.

On my system numpy 2.0 was installed in the KiCad-Python installation. I removed numpy 2.0 and installed numpy 1.26.4.

sudo /Applications/KiCad/KiCad.app/Contents/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/bin/python3 -m pip uninstall numpy
sudo /Applications/KiCad/KiCad.app/Contents/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/bin/python3 -m pip install numpy==1.26.4
