First of all, thanks for developing this plugin, it's very usefull.
Maybe I'm wrong but it's not on maven repository central.
Any plan to publish it?

The plugin was actually so useful that we forked it at https://github.com/fugerit-org/freemarker-maven-plugin. We changed groupId to avoid conflict on Maven repository central.
But if you want some help on this project we can help.
