How come this library doesn't build on Windows?
Because libgd clearly does support Windows

Hi, thanks for reaching out!
Sure libgd2 indeed clearly does support Windows. But since I took over maintenance I have not had the time nor the tools (i.e. some computer with Windows) to try to get it running on Windows. Currently the build process is very much posix oriented, but with some tweaks I think it should be able to get it built on Windows, but I wouldn't know how. Sorry. Please feel free to join maintenance and see if we can get this to build on Windows.
Cheers, Vincent

I mainly use Linux aswell, so I get why you haven't bothered to setup a Windows machine and fix this.

Anyway I've managed to find a solution to this problem.
I haven't tried it myself, but looks like some others had it working:

Looks nice! I will try to make a branch and incorporate the steps mentioned and see if I can get it to build somewhere. If it works, it might end up in master.
Thanks for the link!

Do anybody have precompiled version of node-gd for Windows? I need to run some code with node-gd on Windows machine.
