Initial points don't show up on monitor once run starts

Say we have 4 initial points defined in routine, when run it, there would be some weird delay during which the monitor shows nothing/does not update, then suddenly all the 4 initial points and the next point show up altogether on the monitor, after that the monitor updates normally.
