I notice that in the latest release of Hifiasm (Hifiasm-0.21.0-r686) there is the option --ont to input simplex ONT reads. Is there a plan to add this flag to hifiasm-meta, or can you recommend settings that would enable this?

I would consider catching up with the upstream, but I think that is for newer ONT simplex data, and I don't know yet if older libraries called with the newer basecaller model can yield similar results - would be nice if they do.
