Does this code work for port 8001 TVs?

My TV's program version is stated in the "Menu" as: T-GFP8DEUC-2410.0
Probably from the "Samsung Legacy Platform", but according to the link at the end of README, it should be OK with "T-GFP" versions.

Please advise if I am chasing a dead end. I just want to do "power off" remotely.
