Playback is not working

It seems something has changed recently, because it's not possible to start playback. It says rar file extract then it get stuck on 100%. Never seen this extract message before.

Windows 7
Rar archive v 2.2.0
Kodi 18.5

Alright just saw the tiny text, use kodi Leia 18.6. Will see if that solves it.

Upgraded to Kodi 18.6, still the same problem.
Sometimes on play it just loads and then nothing happens.

Same here.
Library scanning was stuck at 0% and then Kodi crashed.
Had to rollback to 2.0.8 and disable auto update.

Was there a "Solid" on message?

About progress normally mean that is a solid RAR archive, they need to extract the file complete to separate place, there you must also make sure that enough place is present.

Thats also a reason why a message dialog is added, also on old was them extracted to somewhere but can takes a long time by where big packages.

I need example files (where bring the problem) to reproduce the faults by me.

Don't know what happened but my entire Kodi installation got corrupted, did not even start. Reinstalled it and managed to restore my library 👍
I might have time reinstall vfs.rar and investigate some more during the weekend.
