Pause menu in game won't show up if you've already used vr.

The pause menu open but when you switch to VR and switch back to desktop it doesn't open again?

When switching from VR mode back to Desktop mode UI elements such as the pause menu remain in VR mode.
Hitting escape after switching from VR mode seems like it just unfocused the window at first but if you hit K again you will see the pause menu is open in VR mode.

When you switch back to desktop, you can open the pause menu, but you can't see it until you go back into VR.
