Expected Behavior

I updated the opening and closing comment with custom comments, and added them in the correct file. The action should run without problems.

Current Behavior

I get the following error: The opening comment "<!-- Start comment -->" not found in the target file. Happend also when i did not define custom comments, but used the default ones

Possible Solution

I have tried using the default comments as well as custom comments, but neither worked.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Follow instructions to set up action
  2. Let action trigger in a branch3.
Error Message & Stack Trace

The opening comment "<!-- Start comment -->" not found in the target file

Hey @Emily-Thomas ,
I'm very sorry, but I have not found a solution. Somehow I got it to (partially) work for me, but I have no idea how I did it. Depending on what you have already tried, I'd recommend to get it running with the default comments, but I don't have a direct fix. Sorry again, and good luck with trying to fix it.
