Unable to make new storyboard files

Describe the bug
Software does not make a new storyboarder file even after waiting.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'Storyboarder'
2. Click on 'Create New Storyboarder'
3. Click on 'HD' (or any aspect ratio of choice)
4. Click on folder of choice (I saved mine in my Documents folder in the folder "Test")
5. See error

Expected behavior
What normally happens is the UI opens up and I am able to work on my projects. Instead it freezes with no changes.

Additional context
I was able to make a storyboarder file two weeks ago for a project, and all previous storyboarder files open up properly. It's only when it's my "fourth" file I am unable to create one.
I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the most recent version, to no avail. I asked a friend who also uses this software for work with similar specs to my computer, and they were able to make a file.
