How We Work - Summary Notes

all to-do's in the issues tab follow the same format:

@input 📦 [Input Title] (Input Link) from (comment that prompted the worklog)

inputs are finished products
outputs are planned/requested products
*when an output is completed it is listed as an input in the next issue brief

Icons:
❓ (=planned)
🏭 (=work in progress)
📦 (= done)

after the worklog comment, all outputs should have "next" bullet points describing the next task issues

remember to review the checklist to ensure you've done all relevant tasks (i.e. takeaways, update daily todo plan, record worklog video, update worklog comments, update discord #worklog, etc.)

questions on Tiling Window Manager

  • is there a minimum viable product for the TWM?
  • what platform/software will the TWM actually be coded with?
  • I don’t understand the TWM issue, it seems like the worklog only discusses adding more features and iterations instead of implementing it into the site
  • I don’t understand the complexity - why add chat and all the other features? I would think all the user needs is lesson content, description, and sandbox. Any more complexity will increase the learning curve and cause users to leave the site.
  • Most users will be studying on mobile, where the TWM wouldn’t make sense

It's a great first worklog, thank you.
There are a few things that would be good to improve regarding our formal worklog flow.

the above is answered at some point in the following videos when you mention them.
