The ability to save a GPML file was previously available, but now is gone.

It should be added to File>Export>Network... dialog in the file format pulldown list.

Without being able to convert edge bends and anchors accurately, it doesn't make sense to try to save any edits to edge or node position changes from Cytoscape to GPML. Thus, this feature doesn't make sense.
