Currently, the pom.xml indicates this app runs with Java 8 (https://github.com/wikipathways/cytoscape-wikipathways-app/blob/main/pom.xml#L98) ; this should be update to 11 (when PV4 is in place @mkutmon ).

Because this plugin is for Cytoscape, we can upgrade to Java11 anyway, right?
