It would be great if we could display the current power consumption of processes in the sidebar to make it prominent to the user. As of now there is no Gecko API available and we should discuss how such an API could look like.

I've filed https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1877952 for the power utilization returned by the ChromeUtils.requestProcInfo() API.
