I've noticed that a couple of times that several processes a claiming more and more memory but I didn't notice that until the CPU really went up and causes high battery drain including spinning up the fan.
As such it would be nice if the extension could automatically detect a process that is using a larger amount of memory and / or higher CPU load as well. This could be calculated based on historical data that we have per process and by defining thresholds. See issue #10 as well, that we may want to implement first.
But once we have that feature we could think of showing a notification to the user like the software update popup.
