Vossian Antonomasia

Automatic extraction of Vossian Antonomasia from large newspaper corpora.

Based on an idea by Frank Fischer (see Der Umblätterer: Vossianische Antonomasie).

First results were presented at the DHd conference in Bern (February 13 to 18, 2017) (abstract and slides, both in German).

Howto

For the English corpus we used POS tagging with NLTK as implemented in vossanto.py (which is run by nyt.py).
