Option to clear certain values within CMS

Once the color, radio button, ratings widgets are changed- can they be cleared?

In the instance where there's non-required widgets and user accidentally picks a value within these widgets, or changes their mind on using the widget/"feature"-- the only way to clear is a) back out of form without saving, if it hasn't been saved prior or b) delete the content and recreate it.
