Bug Report

Specifications:

  • App Version: 27.4.0
  • OS: Linux

Description:

Using Telia TV, it consumed 50%...80%, sometimes even more CPU.
Computer: 8-core CPU, nVidia GPU, plenty of free RAM.
Watched in small, original window with default (automatic) quality. When switched to full screen, CPU load went even more higher, basically to maximum.
Such situation never happens (even in full screen), when using regular browser, e.g. Chromium.

Steps to Reproduce:

Additional Context

Nowadays quite often is needed to watch TV-shows online. Overwhelming CPUs are quite problematic....
As choosing different browser engine is quite problematic (#1268 ), then this renders webcatalog quite useless in case of online TV-sites. Certainly until the built-in webcatalog web browser engine will be improved.
