Minutes:

Topic: Follow-up SVG tests
Jcraig: things that didn’t block testing this year I filed new issues (listed in the issue above)
Jcraig: could be possible to finish in December if someone wants to work on it
Jcraig: “name from content” is blocked on an svg-aam issue.
Jcraig: ARIA WG could take over.
Jcraig: I added some PRs, but need a process and who will drive those issues.
Topic: Accessibility test standardization, improvements and documentation
Jcraig: Rahim filed this, I think it’s great.
Boaz: Maybe Rahim and James can work on it next year?
Rahim: yeah
Jcraig: we documented in aria-testing wiki… Can move to README in our repo. Suggestions for expanding seem great.
Boaz: Could be in the wpt docs maybe.
Simon: Maybe, not sure if it’s a good fit to uplift to main docs
Rahim: questions about test names etc
Jcraig: Names should be unique and stable.
Simon: Yeah originally test names had generated numbers which isn’t stable if you add new tests in the middle.
Boaz: I can look in January maybe.
Jcraig: maybe break into new tasks.
Topic: Chrome WPT failures may be due to incorrect implementation in ChromeDriver ExecuteGetComputedLabel
Jcraig: I haven’t followed up with David. I’m pretty convinced that this isn’t something that’s in wpt.
Simon: I think foolip investigated and concluded that it’s about how get_computed_label and get_computed_role are implemented in chromedriver.
Jcraig: I filed a chromium issue.
Simon: maybe we should ping them every once in a while so it isn’t dropped.
Jcraig: David is the right contact.
Simon: I think it shouldn’t block the focus area.
Topic: display: contents focus area proposal.
Jcraig: From Apple’s POV. We could write tests, but alice had a concern about the utility with the current testability.
Simon: We think it should be part of the investigation area, since there are still no tests and arguably missing some testing infra.
Jcraig: any issues in interop-accessibility I think are fair game for the investigation area.
Topic: Meeting for January
9th. Simon will create the invite and GH issue.
