How do you apply the styling variables?

Hi,

Thanks for the great mod. I haven't been able to figure out how to apply the custom styling via the CSS variables, e.g. --entities-btn-group-gap. I've tried using card_mod, styles, and any combination I can come up with.

Any help is appreciated!
