5: “If more than one URL is specified, it is expected that the publisher pings each of these URLs, so the subscriber may subscribe to one or more of these.”

"updates" or "notifies" would be better than "pings".

I've changed the sentence to the following to clear things up:

The URL of one or more hubs designated by the publisher. If more than one hub URL is specified, it is expected that the publisher notifies each hub, so the subscriber may subscribe to one or more of them.
