User story

As a content editor,
I want to add web forms to the website,
so visitors can contact us, request demos, etc.

Checklist

• basic version: Form Block in CMS with option to select pre-defined form
• advanced version: Form Block in CMS with a custom form builder
• Form submissions are collected / sent as email
• Forms are protected

Possible solutions

• For form protection: use Cloudflare Turnstile for protection.
• For form submissions: use Transactional emails #112
• For form builder:
  • use DatoCMS blocks (Form Block with InputBlocks in FormGroups (like a Page Partial Block with different blocks in Page Partials)
  • create a JSON Form builder as DatoCMS plugin, so form is defined as standardised JSON structure for which different front-end implementations are available. Prior art: Aurelia Form Builder and React JSON Schema Form Editor.
