Restoring with labels

I am using velero cli (v1.6.0) to attempt restores using labels. However, I'm having problems finding the proper way to do so.

specifically these two options with restore:

--labels mapStringString                          Labels to apply to the restore.
-l, --selector labelSelector                       Only restore resources matching this label selector. (default <none>)

I attempt to restore using labels from a kubernetes service but get an error:

velero restore create restore-test \
  --from-backup backup-test \
  --preserve-nodeports \
  --selector 'helm.sh/chart: nginx-8.0.0'
Error: invalid argument "helm.sh/chart: nginx-8.0.0" for "-l, --selector" flag: couldn't parse the selector string "helm.sh/chart: nginx-8.0.0": unable to parse requirement: invalid label key "helm.sh/chart:": name part must consist of alphanumeric characters, '-', '_' or '.', and must start and end with an alphanumeric character (e.g. 'MyName',  or 'my.name',  or '123-abc', regex used for validation is '([A-Za-z0-9][-A-Za-z0-9_.]*)?[A-Za-z0-9]')

Can I get some advice on how to use both --selector and --labels flags with velero restore?
