Upon doing

yangcli --user="$USER" --server=localhost

as suggested in the README one gets

yangcli: Starting NETCONF session for root on localhost
mgr_ses: SSH2 publickey authentication failed:
libssh2 username/public key invalid
key file was '$HOME/.ssh/id_rsa.pub'

yangcli: Start session failed for user root on localhost (authentication failed)
