Hello folks,
I have a budget for some customization of bCNC, which would then be shared with the community.
I use auto level every day and it works great, but I want to be able to put several boards, with different thicknesses on my large CNC and have separate autolevel zones for each board. The height maps for each board would have their own XY coordinates. I've tried butting boards up against each other and probing them, but if they are significantly different in thickness, the interpolation of probe data points from adjacent rows on board A and board B throws things off.
This would be a paid project for the right programmer who thinks it's in their wheelhouse.
Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I need to get eyes on it and I figure that the active programmers on bCNC will look at new issues.
I've attached an image of how I'd like the autolevel page to appear. I'm not sure how to display the different zones, but perhaps an overview of the whole CNC table, then an ability to zoom in on the individual zones?

Autolevel graphic

Thank you,
Tyler
