Browse filter results on custom page

The browsing feature is a bit outdated and the data shown cannot be defined as precisely as it would be needed.

Describe the solution you'd like
It would be much more useful if filters like in the extended search could be used to define what is displayed in a browsing page. The filters should be usable via SiteAdmin, preferably in page management.
