Feature Description

It is possible for DemotePrimary to get blocked trying to run set super read only = 1 in case the MySQL server is blocked on a semi sync ACK. This can happen during an ERS where a write races with replicas stopping replication.

Use Case(s)

It would be nice if we could detect this case somehow because we would need to restart MySQL and the tablet to resolve this problem.
