Do i need to install tts engine on my android phone. Without it don't work.
I have installed google tts from play store then it works.

Do cordova-plugin-tts having dependency on TTS engine install on android phone?

I am getting the same issue recently.. earlier it used to work fine on android..

No Without it won't work, you need to install google tts and set it as default text to speech engine in your phone setting.
