Content Lifecycle Project, same source diffrent filters.

Do i need to make two different Content Lifecycle Projects if the source is the same but the filters are different?
Its the same filters just different versions of one package.
Seems a bit overkill to have two diferent repos/projects with all the other repos if I only want to have different versions of one package/module.
The filters are for a package in a modular repo.
