Even though my password and words are correct, it does not direct me to my wallet with bitcoin in it and opens another empty wallet. The address of the new wallet is different from the address where I sent bitcoin to the old wallet in Binance. What should I do to access my old wallet? Please help me

First, please make sure you chose the same address type as before. That means, if the old wallet is a taproot address, then this time you should choose taproot as well, our wallet will use Native Segwit adress by default.
Then, create another account under the current HD wallet, maybe you old address is on other account and our wallet will auto restore the first account. You may follow the pictures below to create another account.

Please let me know if you can find the old address with the above methods.

if so, please try to remember if you set any option as above when creating wallet, if so, you need to set the same thing when restore.
If you confirmed not, I'm afraid the seed you used is not right one. @kanchaab

I can confirm, I set every thing the same way when i restored the wallet, and the 12 word phrase was directly copied from the wallet extension, so there cant be any mistake with the 12 words, it looks like a bug with the wallet, but they dont help me with this.

I have same problem. Tried creating new accs but none of them is my old address. Guess there's a problem in the new version. Any solution found by now?

sorry, there is no problem, we tested, and many users restored their wallets successfully. some information you used is not correct, so you can not restore the right address.
1.Seeds(you may have different sets of seeds, may confuse them)
2.create multiple accounts under a Hd wallet, each account has its own address.(the wallet will only auto-restore the first Account by default, you need to manually create other accounts, if the first account is not the needed one.)
3.you may custom derivation path or set a passphrase.

any one in above could generate a different address.

I'm having the same problem too. Did you find a solution?

I had only one wallet address, non other , I cant recover it with the 12 words directly copied from the wallet, this is really bad

It would be nice of the unisat team to forward this problem ti the technical crew of the extension. I see that people meeting this bug are not new to bitcoin and tried all the obvious ways to solution. There is PROBLEM IN THE EXTENSION. and you better thank community and fix it before more people meet this trouble. We are up to bitcoin infrastructure development for the safety first of all.

This issue is real, the same thing has happened to me, I have retired to restore using releases at the time I used the app - June 2023, with no success at all.

Restoring with the correct seed only produces a new wallet with 0 Bitcoin balance, as well as no Bitmaps or inscriptions.

This issue is documented on Reddit as well:

Thanks for your reply, yes I have seen several other people who experienced this issue, I lost more than 300 USD because of this.
the unisat developers are not helping at all to solve this problem.
