Currently the Python scripts try to guess if they (or their target files) are in a correct location by simple string comparisons to directories. I think this is too error-prone.
Suggestion: Put hidden dummy files in
the root directory: .lilyglyphs
the 'private' dir: .lilyglyphs_private
and check for their existence.
